Have you ever been told that you have to develop a voice in your writing? Have you ever been told that you can't learn voice that you either have it or you don't? After, did you hear 1,000 doors shut in your face? If so, you will want to take this class. We will move through character development--the key to voice--what we, the author, hears from our characters, and then, move onto authorial voice, the way you write. I will provide downloadable study material. Each class will have two 15-minute writing assignments--one at the beginning and about half-way into each class. Each week we will get a new writing assignment as homework. Your homework is for you alone as practice and won't be graded. This once-a-week class will run every Monday afternoon from 4p until 6p PST (7p until 9p EST) for four weeks. Once you sign up, a follow-up email will include the Zoom meeting room information.  Limited seating. Please sign up early.
