I don't do it for the awards but, boy-oh-boy! Are they nice.

Some great news on the writing front just before the release date, Sunday, November 17, 2024...

Literary Titan has awarded The Heartbreak of Time Travel with a gold award. It's with humility and excitement that the book has received any recognition let alone a gold award.

But wait! There's more...

I received notification from the Pulitzer Prize committee that The Heartbreak of Time Travel has been accepted into their 2025 award for memoir.

Now, don't get too excited. The Pulitzer Prize gets flooded annually with entries in several genres across the writing spectrum. But goodness, it feels good to get a note from them telling you your book has made the cut. Prayers galore.

Other than that, I'm still writing away on one story with yet another one in edits. It's all busy-ness and business here aside from the cats, dogs, chickens, deer, raccoons, foxes, and, oh yes, the mallards have returned. They make short order of the deer food. Those ducks. I need to put up signs so everyone knows where their own food is.
